Ilmburst Presents:
Journey Through The Hereafter

Event Information

The sky exploding, mountains crumbling, a thorny bridge as narrow as a hair and sharper than a sword, stars falling from the sky… it’s the Day of Judgement.

Death and topics linked to it are ones we tend to avoid talking about; it’s brushed under the carpet, it’s uncomfortable, however, it is an inevitable reality and young people need to be aware of what will take place in the next life in order to build their Iman, and balance between fear of Allah’s punishment and hope in His reward. It will also help them prepare in the best way possible for the trials of the grave and the Day of Judgement in order to pass the test that matters most.

Welcome to Ilmburst’s ‘Journey Through the Hereafter,’ a year of learning about the journey through the grave and beyond. Term 1 will explore the first phase, death and the grave. Term 2 will look in detail at the Day of Judgement and Term 3 will look at Paradise and Hellfire.

Each session will be interactive with discussions and activities specifically targeted at issues affecting young people.

Just another Islamic Studies Class?

No, although there will be some formal learning, there will be a relaxed club like element where there will be games, discussions, activities, and termly challenges with prizes. The key will be to develop a rapport with young people and see them grow on this quest to establish a connection with their Lord, by learning about the Hereafter.
