In Preparation for the Month of all Months….

Take your prayer to the next level and really connect with it this Ramadan. While you are standing for Taraweeh, instead of fidgeting, or your mind wandering miles away, know exactly what to do to get your prayer back on track and stay on track.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him told us that a person may finish praying his or her salah and nothing good is written for him/her except a tenth of his prayer, or a ninth, or an eighth, or a seventh, or a sixth, or a fifth, or a fourth, or a third, or a half.

Think about the last prayer you prayed? How much did you concentrate on it? What fraction of reward do you think you received?

Aneesa Saleem

A Director of Ilmburst, Aneesa has memorised the Qur’an, and holds a BA in English and a MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham. She also holds a CELTA teaching qualification and has a passion for teaching young learners. Aneesa was the main author behind the Embrace Puberty books.
 
Aneesa has taught ‘This Muslim Can,’ ‘StoryFest,’ and ‘Journey through the Hereafter,’ three year long, online programmes targeted at young people, all of which received excellent feedback from students, alhamdulillah! Aneesa passionately believes that in order to build a firm, strong foundation in young people, consistency in Islamic learning is key. We hope you join us on this journey!

Sh Ahsan Hanif

Shaykh Ahsan is the founder and director of ilmburst. He has studied Islam all his life, from a young age when he memorised the Qur’an, to his years studying at the Islamic University of Madinah all the way to his PhD in Islamic Theology from the University of Birmingham. Shaykh Ahsan is an instructor for AlMaghrib Institute, an imam and international lecturer. He also holds an ijazah in the 10 qira’at of the Qur’an.
