Ilmburst Presents: Riches, No Rags

Event Information

Riches, No Rags

Embracing the Hijab

A piece of material? A way of conducting yourself? What really is the Hijab? Is the Jilbab part of the hijab or can you get away with any loose clothing? Flamboyant colours allowed? Can you get your hijab styled? The complexities and new issues around the Hijab have increased.

In this workshop, we will explore what the Qur’an and Sunnah says about the Hijab. What guidelines have we been given? How can we apply these guidelines to our Hijab? How can we overcome the negativities surrounding the Hijab? How do we deal with peer pressure and feeling self conscious when it comes to the Hijab? Get your questions answered.

Taught through engaging activities, lively discussions and a Kahoot quiz with a prize.
